In some cases, the theoretical lifespan of pipelines is largely exceeded, yet without major failures. That\u2019s good news \u2014 but how can we truly benefit from it?<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Currently, it is generally easy to identify a faulty pipe once a problem such as a leak occurs. However, it is much more difficult to assess the progressive degradation of a pipe between its initial and critical stages.
