Gegr\u00fcndet wurde das Unternehmen von Elie Maalouli, einem kanadisch-libanesischen Ingenieur mit 15 Jahren Erfahrung im Bereich Elektromobilit\u00e4t. Aerostrad entwickelt tragbare, autonome Energiel\u00f6sungen f\u00fcr Flugh\u00e4fen. Mit der im Jahr 2025 erhaltenen Unterst\u00fctzung der <a href=\"https:\/\/theark.ch\/de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stiftung The Ark<\/a> plant das junge Unternehmen, seinen ersten Proof of Concept zu realisieren.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00abVor dem Start oder nach der Landung ist das Flugzeug eingeschaltet\u00bb, erkl\u00e4rt Elie Maalouli. Die daf\u00fcr notwendige Energie stammt in der Regel aus der Verbrennung von Kerosin oder Diesel. Die Zahlen sind beeindruckend: \u00abEine halbe Stunde Stand-by eines Flugzeugs entspricht einer Fahrt von Genf nach Mailand. Dieser Ansatz erm\u00f6glicht es, Flugzeuge am Boden zu versorgen, ohne auf herk\u00f6mmliche Dieselgeneratoren zur\u00fcckzugreifen.<br \/>Technisch setzt das Start-up auf bew\u00e4hrte Technologie. \u00abDerzeit nutzen wir Lithium, weil diese Technologie bereits etabliert ist, die Produktionskosten niedrig sind und sie in die bestehende Flughafeninfrastruktur passt\u00bb, erl\u00e4utert der Gr\u00fcnder. Dadurch muss keine neue Infrastruktur aufgebaut werden.<\/p>\n<p>Was Aerostrad in seiner Entwicklung auszeichnet, ist der fr\u00fche kommerzielle Ansatz. \u00abWir haben Beziehungen zu Flugh\u00e4fen aufgebaut und potenzielle Kunden gefunden, um ihre Bed\u00fcrfnisse zu verstehen und unser Produkt entsprechend anzupassen\u00bb, erkl\u00e4rt Elie Maalouli. F\u00fcr 2026 ist die Entwicklung eines \u00abProof of Concept\u00bb geplant. Elie Maalouli hofft, dass dieser in Sitten umgesetzt werden kann.<br \/>Diese schrittweise Umsetzungsstrategie soll Aerostrad erm\u00f6glichen, seine Technologie unter realen Bedingungen zu validieren, bevor gr\u00f6ssere Flugh\u00e4fen in Angriff genommen werden.
